This complex dark degustation beer was voted best hobby beer in Belgium in April 2011 in "De Brouwland Biercompetitie". A jury with film director and beer lover Julien Vrebos and professional brewers from Orval and Dubuisson tasted the 7 finalists (there were a total of about 100 entries). This is what Paul Arnott, master brewer at Dubuisson brewery argued: "What a ripeness for a hobby beer: a full mouth, rich but balanced, small fruit touch, very mature. A beer to taste! Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit. The taste is malty and slightly bitter (roasted and chocolate malt), dark fruit, vanilla key, caramel. 
The finish is malty and slightly bitter.
