The dark brown beer reconciles two traditional old brown styles into a new kind of old brown, which balances between sweet and sour in terms of taste. One third young beer was mixed with two thirds beer that had been aged in wood for at least 2 years. For extra complexity, a part of Jacobins Oud Foederbier from Brouwerij Vanderghinste was added.
